PRESS RELEASE ...

AQUA LUNA in Full Flow

The 60 strong Cast of AQUA LUNA are very busy at the moment rehearsing for their forthcoming show at Garter Lane opening on 24th January. The new dance theatre show is a co-production devised and choreographed by Libby Seward and co-directed by Sile Penkert.

They are very ably supported by an impressive creative team that guarantees a fabulous show. Costume designer Clare Horgan captures the ethereal splendour of this timeless tale. Musician and composer Joe Harney’s (Deaf Animal Orchestra) haunting and evocative sound score will include live performance. The set design by Paddy Dwan floats around the action and promises many surprises. Filmed sequences by video artist Ken Coleman create a panoramic journey through time and space. Lighting designed by Michael Oates enhances the theme of illusion throughout the show.

This is definitely an experience not to be missed, running in Garter Lane Theatre from Jan 24th – 27th , with a special school matinee on Friday 26th at 2pm, tickets are €15 and €12.50 concession. Call box office on 051855038 for further details.
