MURDER MYSTERY FOR CHILDREN IN THE PARK

In August 2010, as part of its 25th Anniversary Festival Week, WYA presented a new play for young children written by two of the WYA older members, Martina Collender and Megan Stokes. It was directed by Shauna Farrell. The play is a funny version of a murder mystery story set in fairyland and the cast was aged 10-14 years. As the Director Shauna Farrell explained “I’m delighted to be asked to give something back to WYA especially as this is part of their 25th Birthday celebrations. ‘This Ain’t No Fairy Tale’ is great fun and the cast had great fun putting it on. Performing in the open air was a great challenge to the young actors but it was also a great learning experience and we hope it will be something that they remember fondly for the next 25 years”.
