A NATIVITY PLAY
FOR ALL THE FAMILY
WYA presented the very funny Nativity Play 'Christmas in the Marketplace' by Henri Gheon for all the family on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th, 2010. Admission was free, but a collection was made for the Pakistan Flood Relief Fund administered by Oxfam Ireland. The 70-minute show took place at Mount Sion Hall, Barrack Street. The play was a funny take on the traditional Nativity Story and this new version was written by 19-year-old Martina Collender and directed by Ollie Breslin. The cast consisted of twenty teenagers aged 14 to 19 years and also three guest adult actors.
