WYD-Eye FILM: BETRAYAL

Betrayal came about as a result of WYD-Eye’s Film Summer Project. This project allows young people who have successfully completed an Introduction to Filmmaking course the opportunity to work with a professional from the film industry. The co-ordinator and trainer Ken Coleman selects a professional to work with the young people to devise a script and see it through to a finished short film.

Made in the summer of 2006, Betrayal saw writer/director Paul Farren act as a mentor to the teenage film crew. Three local actors gave their time to support the project – James Power, Austin Curtin and Liz O’Dea.
