WYA regularly runs a creative writing course (usually twice a year) for young people aged 13-18 years. It has been taught by Jim Daly and Mark Roper and has included visits by writers such as Maeve Ingoldsby, Liam Murphy, Ted O'Regan, Edward Deniston, Pat Boran and Patrick Galvin. (Pat and Patrick were sponsored by the Irish Writers Centre, to whom we are grateful.)

One series of ten weekly classes concluded with a reading as part of the Sean Dunne Literary Festival. Another was a Partnership Project with Poetry Ireland and Waterford Corporation.

Watch the Latest News page for information about the next series of classes. And see the Workshop page for information about how to register.
