Services to Schools & Youth Groups

Waterford Youth Arts connection with schools is often through Creative Engagement projects, enabled by the NAPD and through JCSP Film in Schools programmes.

WYA has provided skilled practitioners in a range of art forms from drama to creative writing, visual art, dance, film, music and drumming through to ceramics and sculpture. We've enabled students and teachers to create art and participate in exhibitions, Artifice (Lismore) Creative Engagement (Collins Barracks/IMMA).

In 2016, WYA added sensory art facilitation to our Suite of Services for children with sensory processing difficulties.
