Youth Film Workshops
Keith Currams
Keith has been working as a journeyman photographer and videographer since 2009, undertaking a wide variety of projects in that time. He is now at a stage where he can give some time to teaching the next generations, sharing his experience and knowledge.
These are hands-on workshops. From the first day participants will be working on collaborative and self-directed video projects. The idea is to give them a varied grounding in filmmaking in front of and behind the camera; directing, writing, editing, lighting, and sound to get a taste of the different aspects of filmmaking. They can then hone in on areas of interest, and develop these skills through crit sessions and workshops, whilst building teamwork and personal accountability as part of a group. Overall the enjoyment of the partipants is put to the fore, and they will be active partners in the shaping of these workshops, giving them ownership and autonomy in these sessions.

Film workshops aim to develop young film makers working together to create original short films, animations and explore various film genre. Young people are enabled to make their own short films and are supported to participate in Film Festivals dedicated to young film makers.
