Youth Film Workshops
Film workshops aim to develop young film makers working together to create original short films, animations and explore various film genre. Young people are enabled to make their own short films and are supported to participate in Film Festivals dedicated to young film makers.
Our youth film facilitators is Keith Currams.
Keith is a Waterford-based photographer and filmmaker, he is credited for all film and audio on the Cultural Quarter Films series, a multi-year WYA project documenting the history and stories of Waterford’s O’Connell Street area.
Keith takes the participants through all aspects of film using industry standard equipment.
Film workshop sessions cover everything from Storyboarding, Script development, Camera, Sound, Direction, Costume, Location, SFX, Green Screen, Animation and always while using wildly imaginative ideas and creativity.
