Living Art Project 2026

Living Art was a multidisciplinary arts project that invited young people to step into the world of the old masters and reimagine classic works through painting, sculpture, performance and mixed media. Working alongside a professional creative, participants explored how different art forms can support and enhance each other while transforming found materials, recycled textures and everyday objects into something unexpected. The project placed youth-led creativity at its heart, encouraging collaboration, problem solving, confidence and shared ownership. It concluded with a public showing at Waterford Gallery of Art on 6 June as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.
