1. Get in touch
Email vols@waterfordyoutharts.com with a few lines about yourself and the role you’re interested in. There’s no formal application, just an initial conversation.
2. Garda vetting
We’ll guide you through the vetting process, which is in place for all workshops.
3. Induction / Training
You’ll join a welcome session covering our ethos, child protection, and what to expect in the workshop.

Safe, professional, and fully supported.
All WYA volunteers are Garda vetted before working with young people. We operate a robust safegaurding Child Protectioin Policy with supervision at every workshop — your wellbeing as a volunteer matters to us just as much as our young members. You'll always have a named staff contact who can support you.
