Online Youth Drama Workshops
During this pandemic all ‘Waterford Youth Arts’ workshops has gone digital using ZOOM. Over five marvelous weeks learn about all aspects of Drama and Theatre Work including character work, improvisation, story development, ensemble work, working with a script with our youth drama facilitators Martina Collender and James Rockett.
James Rockett studied drama at the Liberties College of Further Education, James has been working at Waterford Youth Arts for over fourteen years. He has worked extensively in theatre as a director, workshop facilitator and more recently a playwright.
Martina Collender is the newer member of the team she has worked her way up through WYA as a playwright and has written work for WYA, Red Kettle Theatre, Comeragh Mountains Festival
and now works extensively as a Stage Manager in the professional theatre world. Her most recent jobs included The Hall by Pat Daly and Johnny I Hardly Knew You by Jim Nolan.
Creative Writing costs 25 euros this term and payments will be taken exclusively through Eventbrite which you can book via the links below. If you require more information about this workshop please contact us.

9-11 years: Tuesdays 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
12-14 years: Tuesdays 6:40 pm – 8:10 pm
15-19 years: Mondays 6:00 pm – 7:30pm
